Frriend having problem with phone .
"I've been trying to get this phone thing work out but not happening. Any program or file that I download to my laptop, I get told that it is an invalid win32 application. I just tried to download a program to convert GIF files to JPEG. When I tried to open the file it told me the same thing."
Anyone have any idea what is causing this ?

I'm little bit confused.
Are we talking here about some phone application or this is just some example?

A message like that is often caused by some kind of a infection.

As far as i know the phone came with a cd and he can't download anything to his laptop now .
I get him to post some logs ,and post in the proper forum.
