Running a live Pendrive right now on my Acer Aspire One ZG5. This is AntiX 12 with latest Linux 3.2 kernel.
If you have a older Laptop or Desktop that is pentium 3 with about 256MB of ram. You should be OK with this distro. It is based on Debian Testing and is also what is termed a "rolling release distribution".

That basically means that there is no need to reinstall to keep upgrading the system. My AntiX 8.5 installs run the latest Debian has to offer and stays current with the latest changes in Debian.

This is just a live session so any changes made won't be saved on a reboot. One needs to use persistence with a live pendrive install for that. I am part of the AntiX team so beta testing is one of my duties as a team member.
