Who knows something about playing your CD ROM through your stereo with out the hum, and what do you need to do this ?

Probably the easiest way is to buy a simple cable, which connects to your sound card's "out" jack on one side, and has AV cables on the other side:

Yes that does look like the better choice. The only problem that people have had in the past is a humming noise, when they try this. But I guess with this new stuff, that is gone.

It's only a few bucks, so, it may be worth to try first, before going on spending spree.
