Darik's Boot and Nuke ("DBAN") is a self-contained boot floppy that securely wipes the hard disks of most computers. DBAN will automatically and completely delete the contents of any hard disk that it can detect, which makes it an appropriate utility for bulk or emergency data destruction.

OK can anyone tell me just how I can make this cd version (ISO File) work. I mean doo I need to do more than just copy the damn file to a CD ROM, right?

Hi mlurp...
To answer your question...Yes, you do need to do more than copy the "ISO" file to the CD.
Use these...
How to burn iso to cd to make then bootable...

Not to butt in Dobhar but If I remember correctly Mlurp uses Roxio..... just double click on the iso, Roxio will open up and prompt you to insert a blank cd and click burn. The cd that burns will be bootable. I think Nero works in a similar way.

There is a step by step for Roxio in the first link.
Dobhar, That's kinda why I butted in. If mlurp's version of Roxio is 4, 5, or 6 the link on the site that you posted doesn't work.

I was just pointing out that a simple double click on any iso file (when roxio is installed on your computer) is all you need to do.... no instructions are needed.
I've been following the HJT threads. Your doing a awesome job. We sure are lucky to have you here.

Don't worry...your not butting in at all...If I'm posting the wrong info then I need to be told.
As far as the link...yeah your right it's does not work...looks like bad coding on the web masters part. You have to scroll down to the Roxio part...

Thanks for stepping in..
