[RESOLVED] Adobe Flash, Java acting funny

So I thought this could be due to some infection/corrupt files so I started in:

After going thru with that, I'm still having issues with flash and Java in Firefox, Chrome and IE. What I didn't try yet is uninstall both flash and Java after doing the tweak tool. I'm doing that now to see if maybe fresh installs may correct this. I will post again when I'm finished.

Also problem with Windows Security Center failing to start.

I now know why Java not working in FireFox:

From Java site:

We have detected you are using Firefox which might be unable to use the Java plugin from this browser. Starting with Firefox Version 52 (scheduled for March 2017), Firefox has removed support for the standard way in which browsers support plugins. More info

Java is fine.

I'm still having failed to load flash, Please make sure you have latest flash installed on your computer. With both IE and Chrome, in Firefox still same, it will load but after sometime the game freezes.

Windows Security Center is failing to start.

Any suggestions please?

NoScript is a free extension which allows Java Script, Java, Flash and other plug-ins only on web sites you trust.  Many of us use it--I've used it on my Mac for years as have others on Windows.

I like to use FireFox. They changed the way add-ons are used. Would this NoScript still work?

Why are you guys telling me to use add-ons to block scripts and ad's? I want to fix my flash , not block it. Please help!

Yes, NoScript works with FF--that is the browser I use. I answered your question about NoScript.  I can't help you with flash. Sorry!

Thanks for that. I'm here to find out why flash is not working in IE and Chrome. I'm not using any script blocking wares so that can't be why.

Here is a link to info about NoScript.  Others will probably help you with your problem, but I thought you might want more info about NoScript.

I asked about NoScirpt because I've read it may cause issues with Flash not working.

Did you try to reset/reinstall one of the browsers to see if it helps?

As for Firefox....

Reset Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-firefox-easily-fix-most-problems

If the above didn't help...

Uninstall Firefox completely using this manual: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/uninstall-firefox-from-your-computer
NOTE. Use MozBackup: http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/ to backup your bookmarks and passwords. Do NOT backup anything else.
Install fresh copy.

Any ideas? Flash is not working in any browser for any website, not only the ClubWPT.

It is puzzling indeed.

With that Security Center issue on a top of everything I start suspecting it may be some Windows issue.

The very last thing before reinstalling Windows would be to try repair installation: https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html

Did the Win 7 repair install, after boot now I had 3 "open file - security warning" windows pop up. I allowed the first one, forgot what file it was not sure why I allowed it. There was 2 more right after that.

The second window

I search and find this in 7 forums

https://www.sevenforums.com/general-discussion/377972-hkcmd-exe-keeps-popping-up-every-start-up.html

So here they say might be malware? I try to follow some of the posts there to find out I can't even stop it because this happens

gfxerror.thumb.jpg.735d728ec03b8c552f93c5aecf8a9a66.jpg

So I cancel and don't let the files run.

I ended up uninstalling flash. Windows update popped up with 202 updates. I begin to download and install updates and went to bed.

When I wake up it was near finished (198 of 202). It finished and rebooted, installed some update in the beginning of boot up and then failed. At this point the system shut it self fully down. When I power it up, It want to do system restore. I allow it, Windows successfully restores. I still get hkcmd and igfxpers pop up. I also have a .NET Framework window

The .NET Framework is still trying to repair it self now. This is the status now.

" I still get hkcmd and igfxpers pop up "

Both are safe. Allow it.

4 hours or so later and .NET Framework is still trying to repair itself. Is it safe now to cancel it? What do I do now?

Try to cancel it if there is such option.
