Broni when did you get a windows 2000 ? And do you ever use it ? I see in one of your posts, that you have Windows 2000, on your laptop. 2000 is close to XP, so do you like 2000 ? Because I never hear you talk about it.

Sorry, Lewis for not responding. I just spotted your post today....
I have Win 2000 on my son's laptop, and I like it.
As you said, it's close to XP, but without all those security updates 5 times a day....

Lewis, I also am running a Win2000 Pro machine, in addition to WinXP Pro, wife's Win98SE, and a Win95B on occasion.

I just rebuilt the Win2000 [new mainboard with an older Socket 478 Pentium 4 2.0GHz and 512MB RAM] and am finishing installation of programs now.

I haven't decided to update to IE 6 as I don't use it much for browsing. And in not doing it I may avoid some of the security updates that IE6 seems to need. But I will have Firefox on it shortly.

It has a DVD player and DVD burner, do most of my disk copying on it plus it has a combination 3.5"/5.25" floppy drive for the occasions someone needs help with their disks.
